Who would have thought in the middle of PA you'd find such a charming place with great food, music and vibe. Fine cocktails (try the Sage-5 Clinger!). Two music stages, great acoustics with character. (Bottom floor an actual stage, second floor more of a dedicated casual space). Highly recommend if you're traveling through or to State College.

I have to say, this was the best food I’ve had in the area probably in my whole life visiting. My grandma lives in SC and my family and I were there for her birthday. After an early bird special with my grandma where most of us didn’t eat much, I wanted us to go have a real meal and this was absolutely fabulous! My mom actually realized once we got there that the restaurant is owned by one of her high school classmates and she remembered reading about the opening on FB. After seeing such great reviews on Google, I wanted to give it a try. I was impressed by the seasonality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes. You’d think with as many farms as there are in the area there would be more restaurants like this, but there really aren’t! Every single dish was fantastic and they also has a really impressive wine selection. Can’t recommend enough and would love to go back next time I’m in SC. Scott was also such a fantastic waiter and was so kind and welcoming. Also so helpful in guiding us to make sure we ordered the proper amount of food for our hunger levels. Love this place!

First time visiting great place, cozy atmosphere, great service, good was very good! Lavender creme brulee was delicious as was the lump crab cake sandwich.

Wonderful meal. I’m a vegetarian, and their new pub menu has seven delicious options for us. Service was prompt And attentive without being intrusive. It’s in our town; we will be back many times!!!!!

First time diners. Wonderful diverse selection of menu items. The O.G. 1888 cocktail was divine. The halibut with pole beans and artichokes was the best halibut that I have had. The service was very attentive. We shall return.

I visited for the first time, and everything—the atmosphere, the staff, and the food—was perfect. The chicken sandwich, in particular, combined crispy chicken with special sauce and vegetables, creating a fantastic flavor. I ended up ordering an appetizer at the end, and the combination of the onion dipping sauce and potatoes was unforgettable. I plan to visit again soon!

An excellent spot to visit if you are in the area. The food was tasty and the service was really good! My burger came out a bit more pink than I prefer but they took care of it super fast. Everything had great flavor and I would say it's worth the price

Pine Grove Hall nails that perfect mix of quality and character. It has a vibe you don’t find just anywhere. The food is next-level and everything feels fresh and super flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and a little eclectic in the best way, with the kind of charm that feels intentional but not forced. Definitely a go-to spot and worth the hype.
